Main Ingredients- 1 can Garlic Ham
- A small bunch of Garlic Sprouts (approx. 50g)
Seasoning- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/3 tsp Oyster Sauce
- 1/3 tsp Fish Sauce (or Anchovy Sauce)
- 1 tsp Honey
- Sesame Seeds, to garnish
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Minced Scallion (optional)
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/3 tsp Oyster Sauce
- 1/3 tsp Fish Sauce (or Anchovy Sauce)
- 1 tsp Honey
- Sesame Seeds, to garnish
- Black Pepper, to taste
- Minced Scallion (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Slice the garlic ham into bite-sized pieces (about 1cm thick). Wash the garlic sprouts thoroughly and cut them into 5cm lengths. Trim off any tough ends from the garlic sprouts.
Step 2
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Add the prepared garlic sprouts and stir-fry quickly for about 1 minute until they are still crisp-tender.
Step 3
Once the garlic sprouts are lightly cooked, add the oyster sauce (1/3 tsp), fish sauce (1/3 tsp), and honey (1 tsp) to season. Continue to stir-fry for another 30 seconds, allowing the sauce to coat the sprouts.
Step 4
Now, add the sliced garlic ham to the pan. Stir-fry together with the garlic sprouts, ensuring everything is evenly combined, for about 2 minutes, or until the ham is lightly browned.
Step 5
Once the ham and sprouts are well incorporated, season with a pinch of black pepper. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish. If desired, add a little minced scallion for extra flavor.
Step 6
Transfer the delicious stir-fried garlic ham and sprouts into a lunchbox or serve immediately. This dish is best enjoyed hot!
