Sweet Potato Egg Slut Made with Aged Honey Sweet Potatoes from Haenam
Sweet potatoes are popular for diet menus due to their abundance of healthy carbohydrates and fiber. They are rich in protein, potassium, and calcium, which help lower cholesterol, activate beneficial gut bacteria, and aid digestion, making them great for improving constipation. Today, let’s make a Sweet Potato Egg Slut using aged honey sweet potatoes from Haenam.
Ingredients- 200g boiled and mashed sweet potato
- 1 slice processed cheese
- 50g mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- A pinch of parsley flakes
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
When boiling the sweet potatoes, add a piece of dried kelp and plenty of water, then boil for 50 minutes. This method helps the sweet potatoes become soft and flavorful.
Step 2
Peel the skin off the boiled sweet potatoes. It’s best to do this while they are still warm, as they are easier to peel and mash.
Step 3
Prepare the mozzarella cheese, processed cheese, egg, and parsley flakes. Having everything ready makes the assembly process smooth.
Step 4
Place the boiled and mashed sweet potato into your serving dish or oven-safe ramekin. While still warm, gently press it down. Layer the processed cheese slice over the sweet potato, followed by the mozzarella cheese. Finally, carefully crack the egg on top of the cheese.
Step 5
Gently break the yolk of the egg. Sprinkle a pinch of parsley flakes over the top for a touch of color and freshness. Bake in a preheated oven at 240°C (464°F) for about 10 minutes, or until the egg white is set and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy this delightful dish while it’s warm!
