Homemade Sweet & Tangy Kiwi Dressing
Whip up a delightful, homemade kiwi dressing bursting with fresh, fruity flavor – perfect for salads!
I often enjoy making my own salad dressings at home. Today, I decided to use up some leftover kiwis to create a wonderfully tangy and sweet kiwi dressing. It’s a fantastic way to avoid preservatives and enjoy a truly delicious, homemade taste. I’ll share this simple and delightful recipe with you!
Ingredients- 2 ripe kiwis
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Start by peeling the 2 ripe kiwis. Cut them into chunks that will easily blend in your blender. Place the kiwi chunks into the blender jar.
Step 2
Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the blender. Olive oil adds a smooth richness to the dressing.
Step 3
Next, add 3 tablespoons of honey. This will provide a lovely sweetness. Feel free to adjust the amount of honey to your preference.
Step 4
Pour in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. The lemon juice will balance the sweetness and add a bright, zesty note.
Step 5
Secure the lid on your blender and blend all the ingredients until they are completely smooth and well combined. This usually takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute. You want a uniform, creamy consistency.
Step 6
And there you have it – your delicious homemade kiwi dressing is ready! It’s perfect drizzled over your favorite salads. Enjoy the vibrant, fresh taste!
