Gourmet Korean Beef Sirloin Cubed Steak
How to Make Delicious Cubed Steak with Premium Korean Beef Sirloin
Making cubed steak after a long time! This recipe features tender Korean beef sirloin for an exceptional dish.
Ingredients- Korean beef sirloin 250g
- Onion 1/2
- Yellow bell pepper a little
- Red bell pepper a little
- Green bell pepper a little
Seasoning- Salt 3 pinches
- Olive oil 1 Tbsp
- Salt 3 pinches
- Olive oil 1 Tbsp
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, gently pat the Korean beef sirloin dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. You’ll notice how fresh the meat is if there’s hardly any liquid released!
Step 2
Cut the beef into bite-sized cubes (about 2-3 cm). Season the cut beef with 3 pinches of salt and 1 tablespoon of olive oil, mixing gently. This simple marination helps tenderize the meat and adds a subtle flavor.
Step 3
Heat a pan over medium-low heat and add a little olive oil. Sauté the sliced onions until they become translucent and fragrant. Cooking the onions thoroughly until they are sweet and slightly caramelized will significantly enhance the overall flavor of the steak.
Step 4
Once the onions are beautifully softened and aromatic, increase the heat to high. Add the marinated beef cubes and stir-fry quickly (‘shake shake!’) to sear all sides. Cooking at high heat ensures the beef cooks through without losing its juices.
Step 5
As soon as the beef changes color and is lightly cooked, toss in the chopped bell peppers (yellow and red) and green pepper. Continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes. This quick stir-fry will keep the vegetables crisp and vibrant.
Step 6
Finally, let’s adjust the seasoning. While salt is sufficient, a splash of oyster sauce can be added for extra depth if you prefer. (In this case, my son insisted on seasoning only with salt, so we followed his preference!) Give it a final toss to combine everything. Serve immediately while hot for the best taste!
